On our way up to Maine, we knew we had stop in Hartford to see and tour the Mark Twain House. It is so odd now to take vacations without any kids since they are all grown. But I find that even though I miss their company on these outings, it is good to be able to take your time and venture as long as you like without complaints from said kids.
The Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford, Connecticut, was the home of Samuel Langhorne Clemens and his family from 1874 to 1891. It was designed by Edward Tuckerman Potter and built in the American High Gothic style.
Samuel Langhorne Clemens, known by his pen name Mark Twain, was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, publisher, and lecturer. He was said to have been the "greatest humorist (the United States) has produced", and William Faulkner called him "the father of American literature".

Rosette has always enjoyed photography as a medium and became more devoted to the art in recent years. Most of her images were taken locally or within the Northeast Ohio area. She values the importance of representing the beauty of where she resides through her art. Her photography is dedicated to the subjects of wildlife, nature, and rural and city landscapes, with a growing interest in Bird Photography. She captures each photo and then enhances each image to her own personal vision. She has a unique style that has been described as painterly, impressionistic, with a touch of tranquility.
