Description
Two Trumpeter Swans early in the morning embracing. Taken at Nimisila Reservoir in Ohio. Largest of the native waterfowl in North America, and one of our heaviest flying birds, the Trumpeter Swan was almost driven to extinction early in the 20th century. Its healthy comeback is considered a success story for conservationists. Ordinarily the Trumpeter is quite sensitive to human disturbance; in protected areas, such as some parks and refuges, it may become accustomed to humans and allow close approach.
The editing process, for me, is as important as taking the photograph. My goal is to show off the subject and to allow the person looking at the picture what I find to be most important and interesting. By doing this, I hope to make a connection and to hopefully make them feel what I feel when I take that shot. This photographic artwork is unique and is produced by utilizing several professional tools and methods, thereby creating a one of kind work of art that is sure to compliment your home or office. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my work.
